Laughter Yoga:


Laughter Yoga is a worldwide social movement (non religious, non sectarian, non political) that aims to promote world peace through laughter. 

It is based on the philosophy of “acting happiness” and is a physically-oriented technique, not a mental practice.

You don't have to be in shape (or even want to be) to practice Laughter Yoga!  Nor do you need to be happy, have a sense of humor, or even have a reason in order to laugh. 

Laughter Yoga began in India in 1995 and there are currently over 5,000 laughter clubs in 53 different countries!

Laughter Yoga is a joyful celebration of life!  You will have a blast doing it and you will leave feeling revitalized, rejuvenated, re-centered and re-energized!

Laughter is aerobic exercise that anyone can do!1 minute of laughter is equal to 10 minutes on a rowing machine as far as cardiac output!

Laughter is a natural pain killer!It increases the levels of endorphins in the body!

Laughter can control high blood pressure!10 minutes of laughter can reduce high blood pressure by 10-20 mmHg.

Laughter helps dump depression!It boosts the production of serotonin, a natural anti-depressant in the body!  It relieves anxiety, fear, and boredom as well!

Laughter gives us perspective!It shrinks our problems so that they do not appear as overwhelming!

Laughter is an important social skill!It bonds people, breaks down instinctive barriers between people, and brings out the best in everyone!
